Let’s Play Music and Make Art, LLC Teachers
Lynda Arcidiacono (Voice, Guitar, Piano)
- Lynda has been playing the music scene for the past twelve years. Currently performing in The River City Band and her acoustic duo The Dynamics, she is well known for her versatility, range and powerful vocals. Lynda has sung on many projects for local bands and recorded her own CD of originals “Enjoy the Ride.” Lynda majored in vocal performance at Berklee College of Music where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance. She teaches voice, piano, and guitar and also runs a music program for young children called The Music In Me. She has done much charity work playing free shows for DSS, Santa Fund, Red Cross, Lazarus House, Bread N Roses, just to name a few.
Valentina Bashindzhagyan (Voice and Piano)
- Valentina graduated from the Music Concentration School, located in Baku, Azerbaijan for the musically gifted youths, as a pianist. She continued her musical education at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory receiving a bachelor’s and master’s degree in operatic singing. She has worked as a soloist in both the Baku State Academic Opera Theater and the Moscow State Academic Russian Chorus. She also formed and directed the children’s chorus Vasilyek in Moscow. She immigrated to the United States in 1993 where she has continued to teach.
Bill Carman (Drums, Percussion and Sound Recording)
- Bill graduated from UMass Lowell and now runs the Sound Recording Studio on campus. Bill is also an adjunct professor at UMass Lowell.
Greg Carter (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Mandolin, Piano, Saxophone, Flute, Drums, and Clarinet)
- Greg earned a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of Lowell in 1990. He has performed on guitar and bass guitar with various bands and duos in many styles including jazz, blues, rock, country, acoustic, and music theater. He doubles on a number of instruments including mandolin, banjo, flute, saxophone, clarinet, keyboard, percussion, and harmonica. Greg has been teaching privately since 1996. He currently performs with the blues/rock band Matt Murray and the Motivators.
Sonny Doss (Piano, Guitar, Drums, Violin, and Accordion)
- Sonny is originally from Houston, Texas, where he attended the University of Houston. He received a Bachelor of Music Degree under the instruction of Willard (Bill) Palmer (Alfred Piano Method) and Bill Hughes (Alfred Palmer & Hughes Accordion Method). Sonny has performed shows with many well-known artists. He toured for years throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. Jay Latulippe and Sonny teamed up to write method books for several instruments. Among the books are “Let’s Play Jazz and More…”, a four book piano method and “Santorella’s Accordion Method” a four book accordion method.
Jay Latulippe (Piano, Composition, Computer Music, Violin, Guitar, Drums, Accordion, and Voice)
- Jay comes from a multi-generational family of musicians. He began studying music at the age of five, and went on to win many regional and national championships before securing a full scholarship for music performance at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Jay has performed professionally as a soloist and in a group for over twenty years. Jay is the author and arranger of over a dozen music books published by Santorella Publications. He is an adjunct professor at Chester College in addition to owning and operating East Derry School of Music and Let’s Play Music with his wife Jeanne.
Rose Lemay (Kindermusik)
- Rose Lemay has been a licensed Kindermusik educator and actively teaching Kindermusik for 14 years. She has lived in East Hampstead with her family for almost 30 years. Her musical background includes singing in various choirs and formal accordion lessons for several years. She owned and operated a family daycare in her home while raising her two sons. Her love for working with children continued as she became a preschool teacher. It was then that she discovered there was a wonderful way to share her love for music with the children she worked with every day. She continues to share the gift of music with children through Kindermusik and has been recognized by Kindermusik International since 2002 for reaching notable levels in the classroom. She has acquired a Maestro Producer status, Mezzanine Level, representing the top 5 percent of Kindermusik educators in the world for building a truly expansive program and proving masterful in reaching a large number of families with the Kindermusik experience.
Alex Rindone (Guitar, Voice, Piano, Drums)
- Alex is currently studying music business and performance at Umass Lowell with voice as his primary instrument. Alex also runs his own recording studio out of his home in Andover, MA. He currently plays in the Praise Team at his church, The Rock.
Alicia Rockenhauser (Woodwinds, Piano, & Brass)
- Alicia graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in performance and music education. She currently plays with the SNHU and Windham Community bands.
